I know that I haven’t written here much, but I have a rather urgent prayer request.? In a very shocking turn of events, my uncle’s cancer has taken a turn for the worst and he could pass away at any moment.? Please pray for a miracle and for my family.
Just two weeks ago he got the news from his doctor that they were going to discontinue all treatment and that he probably only had 3 to 6 months to live.? He had been fighting cancer for years and this was a crushing blow for us all to hear.? A few days later he returned to the doctor and he told him that he probably didn’t even have the 3 to 6 months he originally thought.? Then last week he was encouraged to get hospice care for the sake of my aunt and that his time was really short.
Yesterday my mom called me in the morning to tell me that my uncle’s nurse said he likely only had a day or two to live.? I couldn’t believe what I was hearing and got in my car for the hour and half drive to see him.? As soon as I got on the road I got another call telling me my uncle might not be? alive when I got there.? I raced there as fast as I could and he was still alive, but couldn’t speak or respond other than breathing harder. I prayed with him and spend the day with my family
All this to say, he is still alive, is in need of a miracle and all of this has happened so fast that my family is not really prepared. Please pray that God would heal him and that He would be drawing my family closer to Himself through this whole episode.? Thank you.
